
What to do when you lose momentum
Hey,
I FAILED.
This morning I was supposed to be up at 5.30am to get to the 6.30am Yoga class...
But I stayed in bed.
Actually, it was worse than that.
I woke up, turned off my first alarm, then went to the second alarm and turned that off too knowing that I would have to send my accountability partner (one of my clients) a $10 fine.
:(
Not only that, I've started posting my wake up watch time on IG to get into the routine.
That looks a little pathetic now.
Why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to know that even the so-called "experts" have their off days.
It's not about being perfect; it's about progress.
You see, MOMENTUM is REAL.
It's easy to lose and hard to get back.
But if you do lose it, the secret is in the getting back up NOW!
In fact, one of my other clients, Brian had a stumble this week on sending out his daily email.
I had to nudge him to get back on track.
The point is, we all stumble.
We all have days where we just can't seem to get out of our own way.
But the successful entrepreneurs, the ones who make it in the long run, are the ones who dust themselves off and keep going.
So, if you're having an off day, if you've fallen off the wagon, take a page from my book.
Pay the fine, post the embarrassing update, and then get back to work.
Because MOMENTUM isn't about never falling down. It's about getting back up, again and again, until you reach your goals.
